Arts Project Grant - Medium

The Medium Arts Project Grant provides $5,001 to $15,000 in funding for medium-scale arts projects and events.
This grant supports a wide range of arts activities, including creation, production, presentation, training and artistic development in the following disciplines:

• Dance
• Fashion
• Film and media arts
• Theatre arts
• Visual arts
• Crafts (Traditional and Fine)
• Digital art
• Literary arts
• Music and sound
• Multidisciplinary art
• Other

Applicants can apply for between $5,001 and $15,000 per project.

The Medium Arts Grant is a high competition funding program.

Applicants must meet all of the following:

• Be a resident of the NWT for at least 6 months prior to applying and living in the NWT at the time of application
• Have completed and reported on at least one project funded by the Small Arts Project Grant 

Applying organizations must meet all of the following:

• Be registered with NWT Corporate Registries and in good standing with a mandate to support the arts
• Provide opportunities for education, creation and exhibition for the arts in the NWT
• Not receiving funding from the Large Arts Project Fund or Arts Operating Fund in the same fiscal year for the same purpose

Preference will be given to applications that use NWT resources and services.
